On a Mac, use ⌘ instead of Ctrl. Change the Alt+Shift shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Pixelkit doesn’t open on a page
- Refresh tabs that were open before you installed or updated Pixelkit.
- Chrome blocks extensions on its own pages, like
chrome://pages and the Chrome Web Store. - For local files, turn on “Allow access to file URLs” in Pixelkit’s details at
chrome://extensions.
A font won’t load in Live edit
Live edit loads fonts from Google Fonts, so check that the name matches one listed there and that you’re online.
Some assets don’t download
A few sites block downloads of their files. Pixelkit downloads everything it can and tells you how many were skipped.
Where are my saved items?
In the side panel, under Collections. They’re stored on this computer only, so they don’t sync between devices and are removed if you uninstall Pixelkit. Export a collection to keep a copy.
